Announcing new move to Walker's Point

Sweet Tooth to focus on bakery business and move to downtown location

Valued customers,

After three incredible years of serving you from our Elm Grove location, we would like to announce a few exciting changes to the location and operations of Sweet Tooth. With expanding growth in our dessert, wedding and specialty cake business, we have decided to solely focus our attention and efforts to our bakery business. Starting June 2, Sweet Tooth will specialize in call-or-order and online order pastries, cakes and desserts, along with catering for weddings and other special events. At that time, we will let go of Sweet Tooth’s café business and storefront.  Additionally, the business will move from its location in Elm Grove to a new kitchen in Walker’s Point, located in downtown Milwaukee. It is our hope to better serve the Greater Milwaukee Area, as demand for our bakery continues to grow.

Sweet Tooth will operate and run out of the La Merenda Shared Kitchen, located at 809 South Barclay Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The space is a new cooperative innovative by Peter and Sonia Sandroni, owners of La Merenda & Engine Company No. 3. The transition also brings a new partnership with Engine Company No. 3, as a preferred desserts and pastry vendor for their in-house dinning and special events.

What you need to know - our move to Walker’s Point is an exciting, new phase of our business, which affords us incredible opportunities. We will be able to serve the Greater Milwaukee area more efficiently, utilizing a centrally located kitchen space for all operations. A downtown location allows us to stay more actively connected to industry partners, vendors, reception spaces for weddings and special events, and businesses that we currently serve. Additionally, we will take on more volume - more specialty cake orders, more opportunity for wedding cakes and petite desserts, in addition to corporate and special events catering. The business will continue to take online and call-to-order requests, by using the following contact information:

contact@sweettoothmilwaukee.com // 262.789.0500

In addition, we will host all tastings and consultations at the La Merenda Shared Kitchen by appointment only.

We understand that change is hard. To alleviate some growing pains, we’re offering free delivery, for first time Milwaukee county-customers, with an order of $75 or greater. Free delivery is included to anywhere in Milwaukee county area (or immediate surrounding area). Just mention this to us when placing your order and we’ll set you up! Additionally, if you’re a regular, loyal customer from our Elm Grove shop, your orders of $50 or over from August – November also include free delivery to the Elm Grove area (please just call or e-mail to setup a time).

Thank you for you patronage and friendship. You continue to make our dream come true. Serving you has been, and will continue to be, sweet.

Pam & Brianna

Q: “I have my wedding cake/desserts booked with you, what does this mean for me?”
A: You’re all good! We will take care of you just as we would in Elm Grove. If we are delivering your desserts or cake, nothing has changed. We will continue to provide the same service and quality delivery.

Q: “I want to place an order for a cake in August, what should I do?”
A: Great! Please e-mail contact@sweettoothmilwaukee.com or call 262.789.0500 to place your order. At that time, we will ask for a window for pick-up from our Walker’s Point location (i.e. 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 5). Otherwise, we are always happy to deliver. In fact, we are offering free delivery, for first time customers, with an order of $50 or over. Delivery to anywhere in Milwaukee county area-ish. Just mention this to us and we’ll set you up! Additionally, if you’re a regular, loyal customer from our Elm Grove shop, your orders of $50 or over from August – November also include free delivery to the Elm Grove area (please just call or e-mail to setup a time).
